Best Beer in the World: Huma Lupa Licious

In the economically devastated yet still breathtakingly beautiful landscape known as Michigan, not far from the refreshing shores of great Lake Michigan, rises a new breed of beer.
The wild name derives from the hop flower Humulus Lupulus, and its packed with such a powerful concentration of hops that it sets your mind floating upon the first sip. This 7 percent alcohol India Pale Ale has the heartiness of Guinness yet with tinges of fruit-filled bitterness that truly creates a “theme park in your mouth,” as the label states.
This beer is nicely served as a desert following a nice barbeque. I still have yet to make the pilgrimage to Shorts Brewing Company in Bellaire Michigan to taste it fresh baked, but I’m lucky enough that my local Liquor Locker keeps it in stock, and the least I can do is to help spread the word. So this fledgling hand-crafted beer can slowly make its way into the mainstream. Visit their website for more info here.
Cheers!
