Various theories are flying about now that we are in the cultural aftermath of postmodernism. Raoul Eshelman promotes his "performatism" as the new cultural-dominant, Nicolas Bourriaud thinks art has gone all "altermodern" (exhibition at the Tate), and I've weighed in with "digimodernism" (book out next month).

Personally I see "postmodernity" just as a phase or a development withing modernity, in the style of Habermas. What's called "postmodern thought" is something else again. If you're interested in digimodernism I have a blog and the book's out in May. All the best.

Hi Christina, thanks for the info on Harvey and Foucault, interesting notion that postmodernism never fully crystallized enough to replace modernism ... will definitely check out the blog.
